Q. What exactly do I get?

A. Chris provides a life-changing service like no other. For the term of your contract Chris is at your disposal - exclusively - on-call 24/7 - to provide you with the tools to become healthier, fitter and more resilient. You will receive one-on-one exercise sessions inclusive of cardiovascular, weight training, flexibility, movement, access to yoga and pilates instruction, full nutritional planning, advice and assistance with meal preparation, metabolic testing, initial and ongoing assessment, physical fitness testing, planning and organisation of fitness 'getaways', lifestyle coaching, and sporting instruction/partnering.

Q. What is the minimum contract term?

A. 4-weeks is the minimum term and is designed for clients who feel they are not able, or ready to commit to a longer term. This is an intensive program that has achieved spectacular results for past clients. In extenuating circumstances, shorter term programs may be available on request. Please email for details. 12 month contracts provide better routine and allow for specific longer term goals to be set and subsequently achieved. All clients who have undertaken initial 12 month contracts, without exception, have opted to renew their contract terms.

Q . How will training affect my current lifestyle?

A. BFG's highest priority is to provide you with the most suitable arrangement for your current circumstances. Chris will first assess your location, lifestyle and personality type. After initial introductions have taken place, feedback is encouraged; it is crucial that you are comfortable with your decision to make positive and lasting changes to your life. Chris will be an integral and highly active part of your life during the term of engagement so a smooth transition for all parties is vital.

Q. Do you provide nutritional advice?

A . With over 25 years experience, Chris has become extremely adept at managing clients’ nutritional intake including all macro nutrient requirements depending on the client's goals and lifestyle needs. You will receive a nutritional assessment, ongoing daily assessment, metabolic testing (where available), menu planning, shopping instruction and assistance/direction with meal preparation. Chris continually works with experts in the field of nutrition to ensure you receive the most up-to-date, cutting-edge information and guidance. For those who require that little bit extra, Chris has experience in hiring and overseeing/directing the services of personal chefs for his clientele.

Q. Will my trainer need to live with me?
 
A . This is the most cost effective and successful method, ensuring things such as food choices and intake are more easily monitored - particularly in the early stages of the program. However, if this option is not possible or proves unsuitable, then alternative live-out accommodation must be provided by the client. As each contract and situation is uniquely individual, specific details and needs will be discussed at the interview stage. Chris is flexible in meeting your specific requirements.

Q. What countries are you services available in?

A . BFG accepts contracts worldwide. All necessary visas and work permits are to be obtained at the client's expense.

Q. What if I travel often?
 

A . To ensure consistent results, Chris is available to travel with you wherever practical. This allows you to train and eat correctly no matter where or what your circumstances are. Training and nutritional requirements can be adapted to your location and surroundings, wherever they may be. Travel and all related incidentals are undertaken at the client’s expense. Chris has travelled extensively with his clients to destinations including Mexico, Sicily, the Maldives, Japan, Canada, China, Europe, the UK, Bali, the USA; he is a frequent and seasoned traveller who is well-versed in adapting to local destinations and their respective available resources.

Q. Is my trainer really going to be with me 24/7?

A . No. Obviously this would be impractical. Chris will evaluate your environment and make decisions based on a workable situation. Both parties much be comfortable with a routine that is both efficient and practical. Clients are of course first and foremost in control of their schedule; Chris will customise a training plan that fits in with lifestyle and work commitments. Programs are based on certain parameters and from experience, the first few months are the most important in monitoring and establishing a routine as much as possible. As time goes by, greater flexibility is natural. Past clients have stated that this is the best method, as the early stages are some of the hardest, as initial lifestyle changes take place.

Q . Is it expensive?

A . All things are relative. Can you put a price on your health? Ask yourself what it would mean to finally fulfill your goals, whether that's losing body fat, gaining muscle, or simply becoming the healthiest and fittest version of you, you can be. This is an elite service designed for the discerning client and is priced accordingly. Due to the intensive 24/7 on-call nature of BFG's business model and the all-encompassing service associated with it, Chris' unique and supremely successful approach make him a highly sought after professional. Openings rarely become available and word of mouth referrals and recommendations have seen a list of impressive clientele seek out Chris' services. Consider the cumulative cost of having to employ each of the following full-time, on an individual basis: personal trainer + personal food shopper + cook/chef + nutritional consultant + life coach + sport partner. Chris provides all of these services and more, in one complete package.

Q. Where do we train?

A . Once your needs have been assessed and a program has been formulated for you, Chris can advise on what is required. Chris is resourceful and can create sessions for you anywhere you like. Previous clients have worked out in public gyms, home gyms, beaches, parks and inner city locations; there is basically nowhere that Chris can't devise a workout to fit in with your lifestyle and location.

Q. Do I need to be good at sports ?
 

A . No. Chris' knowledge, professionalism, honesty and work ethic puts him at the top of his field and he believes in practicing what he preaches; his level of health and fitness and genuine love of sport and activity make him the perfect mentor and sporting partner - no matter your level of proficiency. Chris is accomplished in a number of sports including tennis, squash, golf, snow sports, water sports and martial arts/boxing to name a few. If you enjoy a particular sport or hobby, Chris will endeavor to participate and in some instances, offer some additional coaching and/or training methods to help improve your skills.

Q. Do I get to choose activities?

A . Chris will aim to include your more favoured activities as much as is practical, however as there will be certain goals for you to attain, you will need to work through specific activities and exercises. Either way, Chris will be there to motivate and assist you at all times.

Q. Can family and friends join in?

A . In the past, a number of Chris' clients have often had a partner/friend or family member interested in taking part. Chris is happy to discuss your requirements and negotiate as necessary. Chris has provided services for both individuals and entire families, depending on each unique situation.
